Life is busy and nothing is worse than heading home at the end of the day, famished, and realizing you don't have anything on hand for dinner. There is nothing to do but to buy something that is already prepared. It's quick, it fills you up, but is it healthy? Does it matter?

Some fruits and vegetables are more heavily sprayed and absorb more pesticides than others. Some are more resistant to pests and need less sprays or have thicker skins. These are still sprayed but if you need to choose, buy organic from the Dirty Dozen List.
