Nature's Garden Favourites Cookbook is based on requests for favourite recipes. Most of the recipes that stayed high on the popularity list, over the years that we owned Nature's Garden, have been included. What I originally thought would be only a handful of recipes has grown into a book of over 80 recipes.The recipes are exactly as we made them at Nature's Garden. These include most of the muffin recipes, regular, vegan and gluten-free. You will find our most popular soups, salads, paninis and quiche.

An effervescent SFU alumna with an ever present smile, Dolores used to whip up some wonderful meals, soothing, tasty and nutritious, at Nature's Garden when she and her husband owned the SHOP atop Burnaby Mountain. You can bet her cookbook will be packed with recipes for the home cooked soups, paninis and pasta salads that we used to relish on campus.

My favourites were the soups (e.g., lentil, borscht, actually all of them), the vegetarian chili, and the salads -- especially the nutty one with cabbage and the broccoli one, oh yes the orzo one, too, and also the beet salad. It was great to get a daily cup of dark coffee there and sometimes one of those amazing apple muffins, and once a week or so head over for a great lunch. Thanks for all the nourishment of body and soul, Bill and Dolores, and for sharing your food and philosophy through your new cookbook!
