Meal times were chaotic with me cooking on the fly!

I signed up for Dolores' meal planning program because I was always making meals on the fly.

When I did make a decision about what to cook I struggled to find the right ingredients in my fridge and cupboards to make the meal. I was unorganized and underprepared.

As a result of completing the Meals program, I have a weekly meal plan in place with the ingredients on hand to make the recipes.

Now I feel less stressed about making meals because I know what I am cooking and have a set of steps to follow for preparing the weekly menu. I am more relaxed, much more organized and actually enjoying making meals.

About the creator of Healthy Cooking for Busy People

 

Dolores grew up in a large family during a time when most women did not work out of the home.  Her busy mother managed all the tasks which come with a large family and a farm, including cooking for her brood of nine on a woodstove.   All of the meals were made from scratch using the food grown on the family farm and it was from her that Dolores learned how to cook.

 

 During the busy years when Dolores was raising her three children and building a career, she also struggled with finding ways to balance her time and schedule to find time to cook healthy meals for her family. 

 

 Although Dolores trained as a teacher, her love of cooking healthy real food led her to open an organic cafe at Simon Fraser University near Vancouver, BC. 

 

It was during those ten years of cooking organic food from scratch for her cafe that she really learned how to plan and prepare in advance so that she could consistently serve delicious healthy food to her many loyal customers.

 

After numerous conversations with her customers she started to realize that, although many of her customers loved healthy food,  they were too busy or did not know how to cook.  It was then that she determined to find a way to help busy people to easily prepare healthy meals.

 

Since selling the cafe Dolores has created an online program called 'Healthy Cooking for Busy People'.  She created a with a simple 4 -step system to help people to develop skills and habits that allow them to consistently prepare healthy meals with ease.
